Spooky Hollow Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust, unbaked
  • 1 can pumpkin puree
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp ground cinammon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/8 tsp finely ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add sugar, salt, and spices. Add eggs and stir well.
  3. Add pumpkin and milk, mix until fully combined.
  4. Pour filling into pie shell.
  5. Bake on 450 for 10 minutes; IT IS IMPORTANT TO TIME. Lower heat to 325.
  6. Bake approximately 35 minutes longer, until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. Serve with whipped cream on top.

Makes 1 pie.
