Ingredients

Cake

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter (check that it does not include xylitol, which is toxic to dogs!)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 egg

Icing

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda.
  3. In a separate bowl mix oil, peanut butter, yogurt, pumpkin puree, and egg.
  4. Stir dry ingredients into wet until combined.
  5. Pour mixture into an 8" round or square pan that has been greased with cooking spray.
  6. Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. While cake bakes, make frosting. Mix peanut butter with Greek yogurt until well combined.
  8. Allow to cool before removing from pan.
  9. After cake is cool, add frosting.
